Hello!
I’m so happy to be the art teacher at Ascent Academy in West Jordan! I love helping students explore their creativity and grow as both artists and creative thinkers. I strive to create a space where my students can take risks, make mistakes, and find joy in creating all kinds of artwork.

I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in Design and Illustration. Some of my favorite things to teach are figure drawing, color theory, and value and shading.

When I’m not in the classroom, I love drawing and painting my crazy thoughts and ideas while I watch tv shows or listen to audiobooks. I’m so grateful to be part of the Ascent Academies of Utah community and love helping with all the amazing artwork our students make!
