Hello! Welcome to Ms. Legg's page!

Ms. Legg strongly believes in each child's incredible potential, and strives to help each student unlock his or hers. Teaching has given her the opportunity to foster student growth, and watch her students uncover their talents and achieve their goals. There is nothing in the world Ms. Legg would rather be than a teacher!

Ms. Legg earned her Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Utah, and loves to read and write. She encourages reading and writing inside and outside of the classroom, in hopes that her students will develop a lifelong love for them as well. This is Ms. Legg's second year at LPA, and she is thrilled to join the 3rd grade team!

Book Report Due Tomorrow

I hope you all had a wonderful Winter Break! This is a reminder that the biography book report is due tomorrow, January 2nd.

Rome Day Donations

Rome Day is coming up on Friday, Dec. 14th, and we could use some help with supplies. If you are able to donate, please head over to Signup Genius to sign-up. Thanks so much for all you do!

Biography Book Report

Our next book report is due on January 2, 2019. The "Book Reports" tab has been updated with the new information. I've copied the instructions here for you as well:

Biography Book Report: Due January 2, 2019

For this book report, your child will select a biography of a famous person to read. I suggest the "Who Was" series, as these books are kid-friendly and on an appropriate reading level for most students. Your student will complete the poster with which they were sent home in its entirety. All pictures must be colored for full credit, and the photo of the person whom the biography is about must also be drawn (this cannot be printed). Please follow the rubric (attached in the "Book Reports" tab) to to help your child meet the requirements.

Note: We are completing an in-class biography as well on Milton Hershey, so please help your child choose a different person to learn about. :)

REMINDER: Classic/Award-Winning Book Report due in 3 weeks, on Wednesday, October 10th!
