In the summer of 2006 Mrs. Adair was hired as a full time instructor at Legacy Preparatory Academy. After 7 years as an instructor she decided to reenter college and finish her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies K-8. By the fall of 2014 she had finished her degree and was a hired as a full-time 3rd grade teacher which she enjoyed immensely. As lifestyle changes and demands increased Mrs. Adair decided that 40 hours a week was making life too complicated. She was offered a position as a part-time flex-teacher in the fall of 2017. She truly believes that learning is a lifelong, joyous journey and that everyone should strive to learn something new every day. In addition, she encourages children to perserver through difficult or challenging learning and enjoy the accomplishment of learning to do hard things. Mrs. Adair has been in the teaching profession for 26 years.
Mrs. Adair is so grateful for her wonderful husband of thirty-four years, her five incredible children, four sons, and a daughter and the addition of a daughter & son-in-law, a granddaughter and a grandson who will be born sometime the end of November. Some of her passions are daily walks with her dog, homemaking, electronic scrapbooking, gardening, caring for family and friends and, of course, teaching.
